CD Baby's charity promotion for Hurricane Katrina victims is now finished, raising a total of $205,060 paid directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund through Portland Oregon branch.
Thank you to everyone who bought CDs during this promotion! We were proud to be a part of it.

The tour was tons of fun and extremely busy. 20 days, 27 shows, and over 6000 miles. We had two shows that got wiped out b/c of hurricane Katrina, one in New Orleans and one in Kenner, but we picked up an extra show in Tallahassee and another in Houston.
Pictures and a Newsletter coming soon. If you don't already get the Newsletter here's the link to

Friday night's fund raiser was a great sucess. Here's the email I received from the event's organizer, Pam Esposito:
I just wanted to extend a big thank you to each and every one of you who helped to contribute to the HonkyTonk Heaven event on Friday! We raised over $1,000.00+ and that total was matched yesterday by Amoeba Music so give your self a big hug or pat on the back for helping to pull in over $2000.00 for the American Red Cross.

We did 5 shows last weekend, 3 on Friday, one on Saturday and another on Sunday. It was fantastic! I love being on stage. For me there's nothing better. Two of the shows were with the four-piece band featuring Bill Bateman on drums and Harry Orlove on guitar.

The show Friday night at Holly Street rocked! It was great to do another show with Andy Graffiti. Chris Lawrence was fabulous, as always. We took some pictures. They'll end up on the site, eventually.
